Happy New Year! This year in missions will be exciting and rewarding!
The emphasis for the month of January is Volunteer Ministries. The Church of the Nazarene provides many ways to be involved.
Nazarene Missions International has done the footwork and put together a smorgasbord of ideas for ways you and your church can get involved in mission through the Church of the Nazarene.
I have included the list plus the link to that particular program. Click here to read more.
It’s time to take your Alabaster Offering!
February and September have been the months we take Alabaster Offering in the Church of the Nazarene. Alabaster has been one of the backbones of giving in the church. I have included some information here about Alabaster for you to share with your local congregation.
God bless you as you serve Him in this capacity!

In the tradition of our church, it is time to plan to take our annual Easter Offering. Our Easter Offering funds the World Evangelism Fund (WEF). WEF is vital for the work of missions in the Church of the Nazarene. Offering envelopes to promote the World Evangelism Fund are available, free of charge, through the Nazarene Publishing House. Here are some more ideas for promoting it. Please take time to review the resources on the website. May God richly bless you!

April is Mission Education month. Knowledge is key to involvement. With an understanding of the needs of the world and what the church is doing to meet those needs, we are more likely to commit to the support of missions through prayer, giving, communication, and going. Giving to World Mission Broadcast provides the means to reach millions around the world for Christ, providing the funding for program production, airtime, and follow-up materials.
Holiness programming, delivered by radio, television and the Internet, is reaching into the far corners of the world with the message of Jesus and his redeeming love and helping to disciple those who respond.
The prayer and financial support of individuals and local churches are vital to this broadcast ministry. In June of each year, Nazarene Missions International (NMI) promotes a special offering through Nazarene churches around the world to support World Mission Broadcast.

The Links program of the Church of the Nazarene is a network of personal connections between missionaries and Nazarenes around the world. Missionaries are assigned to districts and, then on the district level, connected to local churches. Click here for more information and resources.
November emphasis is on the Thank Offering and the International Day of Prayer.
November is the month we take our annual traditional Thanksgiving Offering used to fund the World Evangelism Fund. The International Day of Prayer (IDOP) is on the second Sunday of November. Click here for more information on both of these important emphases.
