Mission Priority One

Dear NMI President,

October’s Emphasis is Mission Priority One and praying exclusively for the 10-40 Window. You ask: What is the 10-40 Window?

The 10/40 Window refers to the area of the world between latitudes 10 degrees and 40 degrees north of the equator covering North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Many of the world’s least-reached people live in this area.

Once again, you ask: What can I do?

What Can I Do?

Learn - Mobilize - Pray

The Persecuted Church in the 10/40 Window desperately needs our prayers for those whose hearts have been broken and stripped of their human dignity, for those dying from starvation, for the poor, the refugee, and the marginalized. Please pray for these people, as well as those whom God has called to bring His message of hope, love, and salvation into this area.

Mobilize your church, family, friends and small group to pray for the 10/40 Window.

Encourage your pastor to organize a “10/40 Window Missions" Sunday.

Look for opportunities to raise awareness of the severe persecution of the church in the 10/40 Window.

Learn about the nations, cultures, and histories of those living in the 10/40 Window.

Watch the news about the 10/40 Window nations and pray accordingly.

Please find ways to help spread the news about the 10-40 Window on the Chicago Central District’s NMI website. There is also information about Mission Priority One.

God bless you as you serve His kingdom through missions!
